Fifth “Long COVID Round Table” at the Federal Ministry of Health
Experts, patient advocacy groups and relevant public health stakeholders once more came together with Federal Minister of Health Prof. Dr Karl Lauterbach on 31 March 2025 in Berlin to exchange their views on the latest developments in the field of Long COVID. A particular focus was on the participation process initiated by the Federal Ministry of Health entitled “Long COVID among children and adolescents”, the Federal Ministry of Health’s funding priority on “pilot projects for children and adolescents with Long COVID”, the Federal Ministry of Health’s funding priorities on patient-oriented research, as well as the work of the Expert Group on Long COVID Off-Label Use.
The Federal Ministry of Health previously hosted Long COVID round tables in September 2023, December 2023, April 2024 and September 2024 with the aim of improving networking among all parties involved.
