The BMG hosted the third Long COVID round table

On 16 April 2024, the third Long COVID round table was held in Berlin, continuing the dialogue on the improvement of care for those affected by Long COVID. Once again, Federal Minister of Health Prof. Dr Karl Lauterbach invited experts from the fields of medicine, science, industry and politics as well as patient advocacy groups to discuss current developments. This time, the focus was on the Federal Joint Committee’s (G-BA) new Long COVID directive, the promotion of patient-oriented research by the BMG, the planned measures to improve care for children and adolescents with Long COVID as well as the work of the expert group on Long COVID Off-Label Use. Following the first two Long COVID round tables in September 2023 and December 2023, the third round table once again provided a space for sharing interdisciplinary ideas and solutions.
