The “Patient Feedback for Patient Safety” platform goes viral

The new platform "Patient Feedback for Patient Safety" allows patients affected by Long COVID and medical professionals to share their respective experiences with Long COVID treatment anonymously and free of charge. To this end, it is possible to use telephone hotlines and also submit case reports online.

A team of experienced experts is dedicated to the evaluation and documentation of these reports. Results of the analyses and corresponding comments are published on the platform. In addition, where appropriate, recommendations are given on how reported risks could be minimised in the future.

The platform is funded by the Federal Ministry of Health as part of the "OptiCIRS" project. OptiCIRS is a project of the Techniker Krankenkasse, which is organised by the non-profit Deutsche Gesellschaft für Patientensicherheit gGmbH.
